Halloween Special Event

Friday 18th October – 7.00 – 9.00pm

Come and join us for a spooooky evening at the pottery on Friday 18th October!  We’ll be painting scary pumpkins, woo woo ghosts and skeletons will be tumbling out of the cupboards.  There will be a welcome glass of prosecco (or non-alcoholic alternative), and you are welcome to bring along a bottle to enjoy with some halloween nibbles.

There is a reservation cost of £5.00 per person and this will be refunded when purchasing your chosen piece to paint. Pieces range from £15.00 to £50.00

All the pieces painted on the evening will be ready to collect before October 31st!

We want you to have the very best experience when you come to paint pottery at our studios. As we are a ‘proper’ ceramics studio we know the value of providing quality materials and our glazes and fired pieces are the best available on the market.

We offer a booking service for those of you who want to organise their diaries, with the £5 per person fee refundable when you pay for your pottery.  If you want to take a chance, then by all means drop in. If we have space then we’ll gladly fit you in.

Sessions are 1.5 hours duration.

Paint your piece, we’ll then glaze it and fire it for you and you can come and pick up your creation 1-2 weeks later.

Adult Sessions

Fridays – all our pottery painting sessions are for everyone, however Fridays are more likely to be a little quieter.  Take time out of your busy schedule to indulge yourself with the therapeutic benefits of painting pottery.  It’s a sociable yet calming activity, perfect for intimate chats and fun get togethers alike.  Pre book your sessions or take a chance and just drop in. We recommend prebooking if a group of you want to come along.

Family Friendly

Come and have a creative time with family and friends.  Our Pottery Painting sessions are for everyone, however saturdays are more likely to be family friendly, as are half terms and school holidays.  Drop in, or prebook your sessions, the choice is yours. We have a range of pottery specifically aimed at children, so if you have a dinosaur, unicorn, horse, dog, fairy, dragon, car, animal mad child then we are bound to have something they will love.

Pottery Art Workshops

Think Wedgewood, Spode, Royal Doulton, Emma Bridgewater.  All these iconic names are famous for the decoration of their pottery.  At Cheshire Clay Studios we have talented ceramic artists who will guide you through the process of decorating either your own bisque fired piece, or one of our statement vases. These workshops are on Wednesday afternoons and are under the guidance of Lise Moorcroft (yes, the name is the clue!). At the end of the workshop you will have created something that will take pride of place in your home, or make a stand out special gift for a special occasion.
